I crashed (as in fell/went to sleep).
So that's a good 7 hour slot gone.
I went to sleep at midnight. And did you know the clocks go back an hour? I've just realised that makes the time 06:30.
24- 06:30 =17.30 hours.
I might be able to managed 17 and a half hours. So it would have been a 25 hour read-a-hon if I finished at the exact same starting time (which I'm still planning to do given my seeping).
Hold on, my maths is shaky in the morning. Let me work this out.
13:30 till midnight (minus 30 mins for pasta cooking) = 10 hours
If I read from 06:30 till 13:30, that = 7 hours
Total, if I manage it = 17 hours (because of clock changing - they moved back an hour)

Oh no you fell asleep! I almost did too, my mom and I are doing the read-a-thon together and I started to nod off around 1:30 - 2am so my mom yelled "ashley!" and then jumped up to make capuccino.
ReplyDeleteI also had to work halfway through so I'm not getting the full 24 hrs either. I feel your pain lol.
I almost fell asleep also! Our clocks dont change till next month, but i wish they would just leave the clocks be! Its always mass hysteria trying to figure out the time.
ReplyDeleteThanks for read-a-thon-ing! HOpe you are enjoying it. CHEERS, Care
ReplyDeleteYou must have refreshed to be able to figure out that math, at this point I couldn't count change :D Glad your back!
ReplyDeleteAll your numbers just made my mind foggier! It is time for me to crash!

I was terrible at computation and math in school. I quit those classes as soon as I could and took extra English courses...
The math confuses me no end. I just trust in the hour numbers the read-a-thon organizers post on the dedicated blog. If ! had to figure it out for myself, I'd be lost!
ReplyDeleteYou're doing great :)
ReplyDeleteI also had NO IDEA that the clocks were going back today. I was SHOCKED!
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!
Nice effort! Hope you had a fun readathon and we'll see you in April!!
ReplyDeleteI slept too (6.5 hrs) but then I wasn't able to sleep last night so I went to bed when I'd been up 24 hours!
ReplyDeleteYou're so close now you can taste it! There's only one thing left to do: read! Read! Read! [and maybe dance a bit ;) )]
ReplyDeleteYou must have needed it! I have not slept...yet! Good luck with the rest!
